The essentials

  • The coast of Muros de Nalón, Soto del Barco, Pravia, Cudillero, Valdés, Navia, Coaña, El Franco, Tapia de Casariego and Castropol.
  • It is the coast of fishing ports and cliffs, quieter than the eastern one.
  • Cudillero and Luarca are the must-stops; Tapia and Castropol are for surfing and estuary views.
  • Combine the coast with the Coaña hillfort, a few kilometres from the sea.
